Can I transfer existing domain name to 9NetWave?
Yes. A number of our customers have transferred domains to our service.  We can arrange with Network Solutions, once your account is activated, to transfer your domain name to our hosting services.  When you place an order, be sure to specify that you are requesting a transfer and NOT a new domain.
 

Can I upgrade from domain plan Wave Basic to plan Wave Prime?
Yes. You can upgrade from the Wave Basic plan to the Wave Deluxe or Wave Prime at any time.  You will get a prorated credit for the upgraded plan cost.

Can I use my account for commercial purposes?
Yes, you can use your account for commercial purposes. The World Wide Web has become one of the most efficient and cost-effective means of making information, products and services available to the users of the internet community.

Do you accept international orders?
Yes. We are pleased to have customers around the world and we're as close as your computer. If desired, we can host non-US domain name extensions, such as .ca.

Do you offer dial-up internet access ?
No.  You will need either local regular dial-up service, ISDN service, cable service, ADSL service or wireless internet access in order to maintain your web site and retrieve email addressed to your site. We don't offer internet access.

Do you offer web page design services?
We offer only limited Web Design Services.  We refer complicated or major design service needs to independent associates that we feel are creative and  that have the resources to handle major projects.

Does 9NetWave handle domain registration?
Yes. If you like, we can register a domain name for you.  We just need your company name, address and credit card information.  This service is free of charge for our web hosting clientele.  Network Solutions now allows for single year registrations.  Each year costs $35.  You don't need to submit a registration on your own.  Doing so may delay your request.

What can I, and what can I not, do with my Webspace?
You can do anything that which does not violate any laws of the United States of America, the United Kingdom or Canada, and that which does not invite investigation by the morality squad of any police agency in the USA or Canada. 

What is Virtual Web Hosting ?
Virtual Web Hosting means that a web server computer handles a number of web sites - but you would never know it. It permits you to establish a presence on the internet at a reasonable cost. We can help register your own domain name which will become your unique address on the World Wide Web. Having your own domain name does not suggest that you are renting web space, and, since email can be addressed to your domain (e.g.. WWW.YOURNAME.COM ) you will not have to announce a new email address if you change internet providers.

What kind of equipment does 9NetWave use?
Our web servers run on dual Pentium Xeon or dual Pentium III processors,
a minimum of 512MB of memory and hot swappable SCSII hard drives.

Will I have unlimited access to update my pages?
You have unlimited access via FTP 24 hours a day. As such, you can create and maintain your web pages on your own computer and upload files to your web site at your leisure.
